Naples Bridal Hair and Makeup

This was a beautiful wedding where our stylists did hair and makeup for the bride and bridesmaids. The city of Naples is located on the Gulf of Mexico in southwest Florida which has beaches with calm waters and fine white sand, perfect for a beach wedding. We performed different hairstyles for each bridesmaid, some of them with half-up/down and others with beautiful updos. The stylist did a perfect makeup for the bride with neutral colors and a nice updo in combination with her wedding dress.

Bridesmaids are a typically close friend or relative. They attend to the bride on the day of a wedding. A wedding party might include several bridesmaids, but the maid of honor is typically her closest friend or sister. On the day of the wedding, her principal duty is to provide practical and emotional support. She might assist the bride with dressing and, if needed, help the bride manage her veil, a bouquet, a prayer book, or with her wedding dress during the day.

In your wedding day, you should have a coordinator managing your appointments because it will help you with the organization. The timeline tells you what is the time for every moment.
A question we get frequently is what is the best moment the photographer arrive? I recommend you one hour before the bride is ready to go, it’s best to arrive during the bride’s hair and makeup, due to the photographer can take each moment before the ceremony. This also gives your photographer plenty of time to capture the details (gown, shoes, jewelry).

The bride looks so pretty in the ceremony, and she was happy. The ceremony is the best part of the wedding day. On the ceremony Is when you share your love with all your family members and friends and you and your fiance become one.

Flower Girls

Bridal hair and makeup.

In most wedding there is always a flower girl. But some people ask what does a flower girl symbolize and what is the flower girl primary role? Flower girls sprinkle the aisle with petals before the bride makes her entrance during a wedding procession. Having a flower girl is optional, but it’s a nice way to make a favorite little person feel a part of it all.

Flower girl’s outfit usually resembles a smaller version of the bride’s wedding dress and actually signify the bride losing her innocence. She may also symbolize wishes for fertility for the couple and the forming of their new family. Flower girls symbolically leads the bride forward, from childhood to adulthood and from innocence to her roles of wife and mother. The flower girl follows the maid of honor, and may carry wrapped candies, confetti, a single bloom, a ball of flowers, or bubbles instead of flower petals.
Who can be my flower girl?

In a traditional wedding procession, flower girls are usually members of the bride or groom’s extended families like daughter, niece, goddaughter or a friend of either family and are usually three to seven years old, these pint-sized attendants don’t need much extra help to deliver a dose of charm on the big day. A cute dress, a basket, a pretty hair style, maybe even a flower crown and they’re ready for their moment.

As you can see on the following pictures LA Bride Studio hair stylist created a beautiful half-up/down style for two flower girls. It was an excellent experience works with kids and create a cute style for that wedding.

Bridal Hair and Makeup on Punta Gorda

On December 8, 2018, the day that Francesca has been planning for years arrived and we had the pleasure to bring more beauty to her and her bridal party.

Francesca contacted us via WeddingWire on May 31, 2018. She was performing her second research about hair and makeup. Her first research guided her to book her beauty services with other Studio which did not turn out as she wanted. She told our coordinator Omar Mejias that she decided to look for another provider since the one that she had booked was really hard to communicate with. Every time she called they didn’t have any details about her wedding. Also, they were willing to bring just 2 stylists to do hair and makeup for twelve bridesmaids and the bride on the wedding day.

Based on her previous experience, she requested a personal consultation with one of our stylists before booking the service, which consultation we were more than happy to provide for free. A week later we meet at a Starbucks in Fort Myers, right on the corner of Winkler Rd and College Pkwy.  She brought her mother and Maid of honor to help her to make the decision. She had a lot of questions about her hairstyle, traditional makeup, Airbrush makeup, the length of the hair, how long the service would take, how many people we will bring, and a few more that I can’t remember.  The conversation last 30 minutes, but after that, she did not hesitate on booking with us. We completed the contract and booked the service that same day. After that, communicating never stopped. Emails, text messages, and calls flowed easily to better coordinate her wedding day hair and makeup as well a hair and makeup trial run.

The wedding day.

Seven months later the day that Francesca and her husband were waiting anxiously arrived. Everyone needs to be ready by 12 noon and we planned to start by 7 am, which gave us only 5 hours to get everyone hair and makeup done. We all arrived at Four Points by Sheraton Punta Gorda at 6:30 am. It took us 20 minutes to park, located the room and set up our stuff. By 7 am the bride, bridesmaids, mother of the bride, and maid of honor were ready to start as me and 3 more stylists were as well. The room was not that big, so space was limited but everyone was happy and excited for getting her hair and makeup done.

By 12 noon everyone was ready to get dressed and drive to the ceremony place at Cypress M Ranch Western Weddings and Special Events Venue. Perhaps, there was always time to enjoy the moment, have fun and laugh.

This venue was 30 minutes away so they had to drive there, as I did. I went to the wedding venue to perform some hair and makeup touch-ups through the ceremony in case the bride needed. The place was beautiful and everyone looked fabulous, the bride on her white wedding dress and the bridesmaids on their purple dress. Pictures turn out as a dream and the day flowed as she always planned. She was glad to choose our hair and makeup team for her wedding services and gave us a five stars’ review on TheKnot and WeddingWire as you can see on our Wedding Photography website.

Bridal Crown Twist Updo

Today I want to show you an updo that I love, which is actually named as “Crown Twist Updo”.

If you are a bride and want to differ from your bridesmaids, maid of honor, and bridal party in general, this could be the hairstyle for you. On this tutorial, I’ll show you how to do the twisted crown braid updo, which will make you stand out in the crowd. This hairstyle can be achieved with both long and medium length hair. This particular updo is great for weddings but can be head for any special occasion, a prom or a simple cocktail party.

Bridal-hair-style

Twisted crown braid updo is a unique hairstyle, which will make you look like a real Greek Goddess. The crown braid is both elegant and comfortable since you have your hair up and there is nothing to bother you if you are having your wedding ceremony at one of Florida’s beach like Captiva, Naples, Sanibel, Marco Island, Fort Myers Beach, Venice, Clearwater, and others; when the blowing wind and moisture in the air can undo your hair quickly if you have a half-up/half-down style in your hair. To learn the basics of this hairstyle, follow the tips below.

Please feel free to leave me a comment below letting us know what you think of this cute updo hairstyle!  As always, if you loved this hairstyle, please feel free to share it!
